The Garden Basics – Fall Ornamental Gardening workshop offers guidance on how to make the most of the fall season and plan for your spring garden.
Learn from a Master Gardener who will inspire you with the changes she has made in her own gardens as well as provide you with practical advice on the following topics:
Making improvements to your garden.
Selecting the best plants for the fall season.
Planting the “right plants” for Central Virginia: trees, shrubs, bulbs, and perennials.
Identifying deer-proof plants.
Cleaning up and preparing your garden for winter.
